About Me:

I'm Xen and I'm your Trans Students' Officer. I'm currently studying Film and Broadcast Productions and as such, a lot of the work I do individually for my course revolves around the idea of gender identity and gender expression.

When I’m not busy boring people with my love for sharks and musical, I’m often found writing scripts for my course or writing for my personal blog all about being trans, which led me to my interest in trans advocacy including my work in advocacy groups.

I'm also a massive introvert, but I can be extremely social (talkative) when I need to be, but this also makes me a great listener for when I'm needed to be.

In my role I intend to be the voice for our unspoken trans, non-binary and gender questioning community here at Edge Hill through hearing YOUR opinions and leading from there through events and my own personal campaigns to help promote inclusivity across the university and ensure everyone is heard and listened to.
